Warranty Terms
This explains the warranty period and conditions for repair jobs completed through Fixdiwa, once a job has been confirmed complete.

1. Warranty period
Each service category carries a warranty period counted from the date a job is confirmed “complete.” The default is 7 days, unless a particular service category sets a different warranty period, which is shown in that service's details. The warranty ends automatically once that period passes.
2. What is and isn't covered
- Covered: problems arising from the technician's workmanship within the agreed scope of work — for example, the same issue recurring, sloppy installation, or work that doesn't match what was agreed.
- Not covered: damage from misuse after the job was handed over, accidents, natural disasters, or further repairs/modifications made afterward by someone else.
- Only jobs paid for and confirmed complete through the platform are covered by this warranty. For jobs agreed and paid outside the platform, we cannot provide a warranty or mediate on your behalf.
3. How to file a warranty claim
- Go to the completed job's detail page under “My jobs” and choose to file a warranty claim (only the customer who owns the job can file a claim, and only within the warranty period).
- State the type of problem, the details, and what you'd like done about it (e.g. asking the technician to return and fix it, or a refund).
- Enter a three-way negotiation room (customer, technician, and our staff) to work toward a resolution together.
- If no agreement can be reached, the claim can be escalated for our staff to decide.
4. Response times (SLA)
Our team responds to claims based on the assessed urgency, as follows:
- Critical — within 4 hours
- High — within 24 hours
- Medium — within 48 hours
- Low — within 120 hours
These are initial response/action targets, not guarantees of when a final resolution will be reached — complex cases may take longer.
5. How our staff decide claims
When a claim is escalated for our staff to decide, the possible outcomes are:
- Rework — the technician returns to fix the problem, when doing so resolves it without affecting either party's rights.
- Full refund — when the job clearly has a problem within the scope of the warranty and cannot be fixed to a satisfactory standard.
- Partial refund — when part of the job has a problem but another part was carried out correctly.
- Claim denied — when the reported problem falls outside the warranty's scope, or there isn't sufficient evidence.
Our staff's decision is final within the platform's process, without affecting either party's right to pursue further legal action.
6. Relationship to other policies
For a job that hasn't started or hasn't finished yet, use the Cancellation & Refund Policy instead of filing a warranty claim on this page, and see our Terms of Service for the platform's overall liability.
