Privacy Policy
Fixdiwa takes the privacy of both customers and technicians on the platform seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data, in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).
Last updated: 25 กรกฎาคม 2569 (25 July 2026)
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed), and profile photo.
- Location data (GPS) — latitude/longitude, used to match you with the nearest technician and calculate distance. Your browser always prompts for location permission, and it is used only when you grant it — there is no continuous background location tracking.
- Job data — the problem you reported, photos attached to a job, chat history with a technician, and job status history.
- Payment data — transaction history, amounts, and status. Every payment is a direct bank transfer into the platform administrator's own bank account; no external payment provider is involved, and we never collect any credit/debit card data.
- Technician data — skills, certifications, service areas, and bank account/PromptPay details for payouts.
- Usage data — access logs, device information, and usage behavior, used to improve system quality and prevent fraud.
2. Why we use your data
- To match customers with a suitable technician, using AI analysis of the reported problem and location.
- To verify and confirm payments, process refunds, and pay technicians out after job completion.
- To communicate about job status, notifications, and customer support.
- To detect and prevent fraud, enforce our terms of service, and keep the platform secure.
- To improve matching quality and our service through statistical analysis.
3. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal data to third parties, and disclose data only as necessary in the following cases:
- The other party to a job — a matched customer and technician see the information needed to communicate and carry out the job, such as name, phone number, and job location.
- Legal authorities — when required by a legal order or requirement.
4. How long we keep data
We retain account and job-history data for as long as the account remains active, and afterward for as long as necessary to comply with the law (e.g. accounting/tax records) or to resolve an ongoing dispute. If you would like your data deleted, you can contact us through the channels below.
5. Your rights as a data subject
Under the PDPA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access and request a copy of your personal data.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate data (some of this you can correct yourself on the profile page).
- The right to request deletion or restriction of use of your data, where there is no legal requirement to keep it further.
- The right to withdraw consent — for example, access to GPS location can be withdrawn at any time via your browser settings.
- The right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) if you believe you have not been protected as the law requires.
6. Cookies and usage tracking
The website uses cookies/browser storage (e.g. your login token and theme preference) so that the system functions correctly. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.
In addition, the homepage uses a fixdiwa_vidcookie — a random identifier generated in your browser, not tied to your name, email, or any other identifying information. It is used to remember basic visit behavior (such as pages visited and service categories you're interested in) to improve the homepage and future matching quality. This cookie is kept in your browser for up to 1 year, and the behavioral data recorded on our servers is automatically deleted after 90 days. You can clear this cookie and request deletion of the data tied to it immediately through your browser, by contacting us through the channel in section 8, or by using the button below to stop tracking and delete your data right away.
7. Data security
Passwords are stored hashed, data in transit is protected by an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and every payment is a bank transfer manually verified and confirmed by our staff. That said, no system is 100% secure — if you discover a security vulnerability, please let us know immediately through the contact channels below.
8. Data controller and contact channels
นายนภัทร รัตนนาคินทร์ (platform administrator and the person responsible for operating Fixdiwa) is responsible for personal data on the Fixdiwa platform. You can reach out with questions or to exercise your PDPA rights by email at support@fixdiwa.com or see further channels on our contact page.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our service or legal requirements. If there is a material change, we will announce it on this page along with the date it was last updated.
