Safe DIY steps: 1) Gently pull the drawer out of the cabinet; if it resists, insert a thin piece of wood or a credit‑card‑sized shim under the drawer and wiggle it out. 2) Inspect the slides or runners for debris; clean with a soft brush or dry cloth. 3) Check the mounting screws or bolts; tighten any that are loose with the appropriate screwdriver. 4) If the slides are worn or cracked, apply a light coating of wood‑safe lubricant spray to the moving parts, then test the drawer.
